TERMS AND CONDITIONS
**Terms and Conditions: Hired Items**
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the hirer of the equipment shall be referred to as the “Customer.”
The owner and supplier of the equipment shall be referred to as “Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD.”
“Equipment” refers to all items hired and collected by the Customer or delivered by Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD to the Customer.
BOOKINGS
Please make all bookings via our website. Enter the date of your event as your start date. This allows us to allocate the day before and the day after your event for preparation, delivery, and pick-up.
Select the correct options at checkout. If this is a delivery, you will be charged for a ground level front door home delivery and collection by default. If you require out-of-hours, city, venue, or park deliveries, ensure these options are selected before submitting your order. If you select warehouse pick-up, your items will be ready for collection, and no delivery will be booked.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking. If your event is less than 30 days away, please choose the “pay in full” option.
SECURITY BOND
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD Requires all customer to pay a Security bond for the hired items. This is Payable before we deliver or before you collect, A text message will be sent to you with instructions of how to pay the amount of $100, this amount is refunded to you after the relevant checks have been done, Bond loss can occur if items are not cleaned, returned on time or left at the ground level at the front of your property for collection. If your card details are on file from your booking then deductions for any breaches may be taken if a bond is not paid.
ORDER VARIATIONS AND PAYMENT
The Customer agrees to these terms and conditions and is required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. Without the deposit, the booking is not confirmed.
The Customer may make changes to the order quantities by notifying Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD in writing. Final changes must be advised in writing no later than seven (7) days before the event.
If items are removed from a secured booking due to a change of mind, fees may apply depending on the notice given. See the Cancellation Policy for details.
The balance of your account is due and payable thirty (30) days before your event. An invoice will be issued prior to this date to facilitate final payment.
Accounts that remain unpaid will incur a weekly $25 administration fee for each week the account remains unpaid past the due date.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The Customer may cancel an order at any time by notifying Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD in writing. Cancellation fees will apply for cancelling a secured booking.
No cancellation by the Customer is valid unless acknowledged in writing by Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD.
Bookings cancelled zero (0) to twenty Nine (29) days before your event date will be charged 100% of the total booking cost.
Bookings cancelled over thirty (30) days will be charged 50% of the total booking cost.
Cancellations due to weather are still subject to the above cancellation policy. Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD is not responsible for inclement weather that may cause the Customer to cancel their booking. We recommend having a wet weather backup plan for outdoor events.
FORCE MAJEURE
For the purposes of this clause, “Force Majeure” means an event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of a party, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, severe flooding, rain, hail, wind, fire, explosion, pandemics, civil disobedience, and new legislation or labour disputes.
Neither Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD nor the Customer will be liable for delay or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement due to Force Majeure.
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD may give written notice to the Customer, detailing the Force Majeure event.
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by the Customer, including but not limited to, loss of turnover, profits, business or goodwill, or any liability to any other party, or for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer due to delays caused by Force Majeure events.
DAMAGE, LOST, STOLEN, OR UNCLEAN EQUIPMENT
Upon delivery and until the return of the equipment to Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD premises, the Customer has full responsibility for all hired equipment. The Customer will pay full replacement cost for any equipment that is badly damaged, lost, or stolen, and will cover repair costs for damaged equipment. Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD will determine if damaged equipment requires repair or replacement. Bond loss for the above.
All equipment must be returned in a clean and dry condition. If equipment is returned unclean, the Customer will be charged the full cost of cleaning from the bond.
The Customer must protect the equipment from the elements during the hire period. In poor weather conditions, storage of the equipment is the Customer’s responsibility. Any weather-related damage is the Customer’s full responsibility and will be charged at full replacement cost.
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD will deliver equipment in clean and well-maintained condition. The Customer must notify Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD of any unsatisfactory conditions within three (3) hours of receiving the equipment. Otherwise, any damage or uncleanliness will be deemed the Customer’s responsibility.
Crepe paper or confetti of any kind is not allowed on Americana chairs.
All equipment must remain at the Customer’s address as provided at the time of booking unless written consent is given by Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD.
DELIVERY, COLLECTION, AND SETUP
Delivery and handling fees will be charged to the Customer for loading/unloading, delivery, and collection of equipment. Fees vary based on the distance from Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD premises. Unless a setup and pack-down fee has been charged and agreed upon, the hire company is not responsible for setting up equipment.
The Customer is responsible for having someone available to take delivery on the nominated date. If no one is available, an additional delivery fee will be charged for a second delivery unless prior arrangements have been made to leave the equipment at the front.
Handling and maintenance fees are based on delivery and pick-up. Additional charges apply for out of hours or same-day delivery and pick-up, so ensure to select the appropriate options at checkout. Standard delivery is…
Thursday/Friday 9-3 PM, Saturday 9-12 PM

Sunday 9-12 PM Monday/Tuesday 9-3 PM.
Prices quoted are for ground-level delivery. Extra charges apply for deliveries more than ten (10) meters away from where our vehicles can park, or for stairs, steep descents, and upper levels in buildings. The Customer must select the appropriate boxes at checkout. Failure to do so may result in extra charges or refusal to deliver. Extra charges may be payable at the time of delivery via cash, Pay ID, or bank transfer.
CUSTOMER PICK-UP
Customer pick-ups/drop-offs are available Monday to Friday, 8AM – 6PM at 54 St Vincents Rd, Virginia. If no one is available, leave items inside the marquee and send a photo with your name for confirmation of return.
Weekend arrangements can be made by appointment, depending on event times. All customer returns must be made by 6PM on the due date.
Customers must use ropes, protective blankets, and/or tarps to ensure the safe collection of hire items.
DISCLAIMER
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD shall not be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death, or loss of income caused to the Customer, third parties, or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services.
No warranty is given by Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD, nor are they liable for any damage or harm regarding the equipment except through their wrongdoing.
The Customer is responsible for all loss and damage to the equipment.
AMENDMENTS
Lovely Jubbly Party Hire PTY LTD reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time to suit changing business needs. Changes will be effective once posted on the Lovely Jubbly Events & Party Hire website.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to regularly review the terms and conditions on the Lovely Jubbly Events & Party Hire website.
