Can I view the venue before booking to see all the inclusions and get an idea of the space?

Absolutely! We’d love to show you around.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my date, and when is the balance due?

Yes — a 50% deposit is required immediately to secure your date.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.


I’ve booked the venue from 4 pm to  9 pm but would like extra time to set up my decorations. Is this possible?

Yes, additional setup time is available at the hourly rate, booked before your start time. SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY – All hours booked are access to vacate. 
You can add this option when booking online or contact us for a quote if you’d like our team to handle the decorating for you — so everything’s ready for you to simply arrive and enjoy your celebration.


Am I allowed to rearrange the furniture to suit my event?

Yes, you’re welcome to move furniture around to suit your setup.
We only ask that everything is returned to its original position before your vacate time.


Can I bring my own food and alcohol?

Yes, our venue is fully BYO.
You can organise your own catering, and we provide:
• A fully covered kitchen area
• Large BBQ
• Space for a food truck
• A large fridge (fits Costco trays)
• Four double fridges for drinks


Can I bring my own DJ or band?

Unfortunately, due to past issues, we no longer allow hirers to bring their own DJs or additional speakers.
Our in-house sound system is available for use and provides excellent coverage for the space.


Is there a bond to pay?

Yes, a $500 security bond is payable 24 hours before your event.
This is fully refundable following a daylight inspection, provided there are no damages, extra hours, or cleaning fees required.


Am I responsible for cleaning the venue after my event?

Yes — as this is a BYO DIY venue, you’re responsible for leaving the venue as you found it.
That includes:
• Rubbish placed in the correct bins
• All personal decorations removed
• Surfaces tidy and clean

We handle vacuuming and disinfecting the bathrooms.
If you prefer, you can book our $250 cleaning service, and we’ll take care of everything for you.
If this option isn’t pre-booked and the venue isn’t left clean, the $250 will be deducted from your bond.


Can I return the next morning to collect leftover food, drinks, or gifts?

Yes, this can be arranged for an additional $100 fee, provided there’s no booking the next morning.
All pack-down must be completed before the next hirer’s access time.
We recommend taking all gifts home on the night, as this is an open venue and we cannot accept responsibility for lost or missing items.


Do you offer extra items like glassware, plates, or platters?

Yes — we have two options:
Hire via our website at 50% off when booked with the venue (we’ll have them clean and ready, and we wash up afterwards).
Use our shared venue sets at no charge, but you’re responsible for washing and returning them clean.


Do you offer discounts for charities?

Yes, we do!
We simply ask for proof of your registered charity status at the time of booking.

Hey there! We totally understand — everyone loves a bargain (we do too!).

But before requesting a discount on our venue hire, we wanted to share a little peek behind the scenes.

Each event at Lovely Jubbly involves a lot of unseen work to make everything sparkle — from cleaning, setup, and moving stock, to admin time, utilities, insurance, and ongoing maintenance.

It’s a full team effort before, during, and after every event to keep the space beautiful, safe, and ready for the next celebration.

The true running cost of the venue is already high per event before any profit is made — covering staff wages, cleaning, power, water, and property expenses.

Because of this, we’re unable to offer discounts on venue hire — except for approved charities.

We genuinely appreciate your understanding and continued support for our small business ❤️
